Talent Acquisition Lead

“If you want to build a strong work culture that isn't afraid of innovation, change, failure, and success, that all starts with your people.”

Dori Grant’s 13-year career as a leader of people and programs includes an expert focus on helping organizations integrate and expand their diversity and inclusion initiatives. She began her career in higher education recruiting for Mills College’s graduate programs, then for the University of San Francisco School of Management’s business school. In these roles, she realized the significant gap in female technical talent, which led her to an executive director role overseeing the admissions team at Hackbright Academy.

Dori values the benefits of being an active listener, learning from others, and cultivating long-term relationships.  She credits her role as a professional tennis coach after high school and through college—to players ranging in age from 4 to 82 years—as teaching her a high level of patience that she taps into daily today in her work with people, teams, and organizations. Dori received her bachelor’s degree from Mills College in California.
