“It's important to ask questions, but it's even more important to really listen to the answers.”

Keri McKenzie believes that at the end of the day design is really about people and their needs. She is passionate about simplifying concepts through visual communication and making meaningful connections with others. Her creative work mirrors her cooking in the kitchen. Whether lacking an ingredient or having to adjust a flavor profile to create balance, she is resourceful and knows how to pivot when something unexpected happens. Having seen the impact that effective design can make, and collaborated with people from diverse walks of life, Keri approaches design with a story in mind that is clear, meaningful, and accessible to the audience.

She has held a variety of roles over the last 15 years, including in higher education, health care administration, and town government. Her freelance design experience at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, with local businesses and her alma mater, honed her skills in graphic design, typography, illustration, conference design, and social media. Keri earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Bridgewater State University.
