“Never forget the human side of change – poor adoption can kill even the greatest of solutions.”

Shana Dykema is a builder and a fixer by nature.  A woodworker, amateur mechanic, and antique restorer, she approaches business challenges in much the same way: beginning with the end in mind, ensuring thorough and lasting solutions, and being flexible along the way. By considering how change will affect a project — and the people involved — she is able to create effective, efficient, human-centric systems.

Shana has more than a dozen years of experience working in the healthcare and research industries, including the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, the South Carolina Hospital Association, and the Medical University of South Carolina, where she led multiple high-visibility, cross-functional improvement teams that generated more than $4 million in savings for the organization. She is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and holds a master’s degree in health administration and a bachelor’s degree in French and Russian from the University of South Carolina.
