Going Paperless at a Financial Services Company
The Problem
Transformation to the digital age is a priority for any business in today’s rapidly changing and digitized market. The executive team of a national financial services company set the goal of moving 20 years of vital paper documents, which spanned 10 divisions and 1,400 employees, onto a digital platform within two years. After the digitization strategy was determined, Propeller was charged with the implementation and the development of governance structures, standardized reporting, coordinated business processes and employee training.
The Approach
The Propeller team immediately engaged the client’s teams to understand all the risks and impacts of the transition. Implementation included not only digitizing core assets, but changing the underlying processes that generated paper in the first place. Propeller assessed the business landscape, identified the individuals who would most be affected and created strategic goals to ensure a smooth transformation from start to finish.
